BIGGER Steps - Nashville Intends To Lift all COVID-Related Capacity Restrictions 05/14/2021

Nashville’s steps are getting BIGGER for businesses! Per Nashville Mayor John Cooper, 40% of Nashville residents have received the vaccine and Nashville aims to have 50% of the population vaccinated by May so beginning May 14, 2021, Nashville health officials intend to lift all COVID-19 restrictions on business and gatherings, with the countywide mask mandate set to continue indoors and recommended outdoors. This would end all capacity and operational restrictions on bars, restaurants, music venues, sporting events and all other business and gatherings. However, businesses and venues can continue virus precautions, or implement new procedures of their own, which is their prerogative. These are much needed steps for Nashville businesses in the process of recovering and returning to normal.
