Nashville is taking a BIG step towards reopening the city for businesses! In a recent Amended and Restated Order 8, the Metro Public Health Interim Chief Medical Director, Dr. Gill Wright, ordered that masks are no longer required in outdoor settings in Nashville! Beginning today, April 16, 2021, COVID-19 restrictions have been altered in accordance with 30% of Nashville residents having received the vaccine. Thus, restaurants and bars can remain open as late as 3 a.m. and have up to 225 seated customers per floor, outdoor arenas can operate at 40% capacity while indoors can operate at 33%, public gathering sizes have increased to 15 indoors and 20 outdoors, and maximum event capacity has been raised to 3,000.
