Drinks-to-Go Legislation in Tennessee

Today the Tennessee General Assembly extended the Drinks-to-go for two (2) years, based on framework established by Governor Lee’s Executive Orders. Once signed into law by Governor Lee, House Bill 0241/Senate Bill 0681 will allow properly alcohol licensed restaurants to sell drinks for off premises consumption via drive through, pickup and carryout services. This new legislation is vital for Tennessee’s hospitality industry, which is the state’s largest employer and taxpayer.
