Ortale Kelley Welcomes Three New Partners

Ortale Kelley proudly announces that Emmie Kinnard, Hayley Vos, and William Ball have been named as the newest partners to the firm. All three are graduates of Belmont University College of Law and joined the firm in 2019.

Emmie Kinnard has focused her litigation practice on all matters that touch on real property, including construction defect litigation, real estate partition litigation, boundary dispute litigation and homeowners association litigation. She also frequently assists individuals, local businesses and other corporate clients on transactional matters, real estate closings, business formation, contract drafting and review, and business dispute resolution. In addition to these representative practice areas, Emmie has also briefed and argued several appeals before the Tennessee Court of Appeals and Tennessee Supreme Court.

Hayley is a seasoned litigator with extensive experience handling a wide variety of legal disputes and she has successfully represented clients in a wide range of litigation matters Hayley has a deep understanding of insurance law and extensive courtroom experience as she has tried many jury and bench trials across the state. Hayley’s experience spans across multiple areas of litigation, including insurance defense litigation and workers’ compensation. She has also focused on real property matters related to homeowners’ association litigation, Fair Housing Claims, real estate closings, probate matters and construction defect litigation.

William is an experienced real estate and transactional attorney. His primary area of practice involves advising and representing real estate developers, builders, landlords, tenants, and real estate brokers on a wide variety of real estate needs, which include acquisitions, leasing, financing, business formation, and structuring transactions. Throughout his legal career at Ortale Kelley Law Firm, William has handled an extensive number of residential and commercial closings. In addition, William provides legal guidance for condominium and homeowner associations to include drafting declarations of covenants, conditions, and restrictions, as well as restrictions enforcement, and interpretation of governing documents.
