William M. Billips

Bill Billips joined the firm in 1978. He attended Vanderbilt University, obtaining his undergraduate degree in 1971 and his law degree from the Nashville School of Law in 1977, graduating in the top 10 percent of his class.

AV PreeminentMr. Billips, an AV-Rated Lawyer, primarily practices in the areas of civil litigation, insurance defense and workers' compensation defense. Mr. Billips litigates matters throughout Middle Tennessee in all levels of State Court and Federal Court.

Mr. Billips is a Rule 31 General Civil Mediator and as such lends his 33 years of trial experience throughout the State to litigants seeking to resolve their disputes alternatively.

Mr. Billips is a member of the Tennessee Bar Association and the Tennessee Trial Lawyers. Mr. Billips is a former President of the Optimists Club. Mr. Billips is a native Tennessean, having been born, raised and educated in Nashville.
