Ortale Kelley is pleased to announce that Rachel C. Hogan and Kobina P. Ankumah have joined the firm as associates.
Ms. Hogan’s practice will focus on civil litigation, insurance defense and coverage, and medical malpractice. She received her Juris Doctor from Belmont University School of Law where she graduated cum laude and was a member of the Belmont Law Review as well as a member of Belmont’s Board of Advocates. She also participated in Belmont’s Mock Trial Program, where her team won the regional competition and went to place in the Top 10 in the national competition. Ms. Hogan graduated from Lipscomb University in 2012, where she received a B.A. in Journalism, summa cum laude.
Mr. Ankumah’s practice will focus on commercial transactions, medical malpractice, and insurance defense and coverage. He received his Juris Doctor from the University of Alabama School of Law, where he served as the Ombudsman for the University of Alabama’s Honor Council. He also served as a senior editor of the Journal of Legal Profession, where his article was selected for publication in the fall 2014 edition, and was a recipient of the Arthur Davis Shores Scholarship. Mr. Ankumah a graduate of Vanderbilt University, where he received a B.A. in Public Policy Studies.
