Paul Buchanan


Mr. Buchanan represents a variety of clients inside and outside of courtrooms throughout the country. His decades of experience as a civil litigator and a trained mediation specialist ensures the best possible outcome for each of his clients.

Mr. Buchanan is a partner in the firm. He joined the firm in 1983. Mr. Buchanan received his undergraduate degree in 1977 from Rhodes College and his law degree from the University of Tennessee in 1983.

Mr. Buchanan’s primary area of practice is civil litigation, both in state and federal court. Mr. Buchanan has also been admitted to practice before the Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit and the Supreme Court of the United States. Mr. Buchanan is also a trained mediation specialist.

Mr. Buchanan has extensive jury and non-jury trial experience in matters involving professional liability, personal injury, contract disputes, premises liability, insurance, construction defects, products liability, defamation, and real estate. Mr. Buchanan regularly holds seminars for area insurance adjusters and executives.
