David P. Vial, II

Mr. Vial joined the firm in 2006 as an associate. He graduated from Louisiana State University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree, majoring in English and Political Science, and subsequently obtained his Juris Doctor and Bachelor of Civil Law from the Paul M. Herbert Law Center at Louisiana State University. Mr. Vial worked as a judicial clerk for the Honorable Bruce C. Bennett and the Honorable Robert H. Morrison, III, District Court Judges of the 21st Judicial District in Louisiana. After moving to Tennessee, he worked as a judicial clerk for the Honorable J. Mark Rogers, Circuit Court Judge of the 16th Judicial District.

Mr. Vial has civil litigation experience in various courts throughout the State and has handled both nonjury and jury matters. He has also presented arguments to the Tennessee Court of Appeals. Mr. Vial's areas of practice include insurance defense and coverage, homeowners association representation, and collections law. Mr. Vial also handles matters involving contract disputes, hospital liens, worker's compensation, and bankruptcy.

Mr. Vial was admitted to practice law in Louisiana in 2004; to practice law in Tennessee in 2005; and to practice law before the United States District Court for the Middle District of Tennessee in 2007.

Mr. Vial is a member of the Louisiana, Tennessee, and Nashville Bar Associations. Mr. Vial is also a member of Phi Delta Phi.
