Mr. Ankumah’s diligence and commitment are valuable assets for clients looking for assistance in litigation matters.

Mr. Ankumah has assisted in the defense of a variety of clients in different and diversified areas of practice including corporate law, healthcare, and insurance.  Since joining the firm in 2015, Kobi has gained courtroom experience quickly in both state and federal courts by arguing motions, trying cases, and handling appeals. Since then, the focus of his practice primarily consists of professional negligence, healthcare liability, and civil litigation claims.

Mr. Ankumah joined the firm in 2015 after receiving his J.D. from The University of Alabama School of Law, where he served as the Ombudsman for the University of Alabama’s Honor Council. Mr. Ankumah also served as a senior editor for the Journal of the Legal Profession, where his article was selected for publication in the fall 2014 issue. Mr. Ankumah was also a Leadership Council on Legal Diversity’s 1L Scholar and a recipient of the Arthur Davis Shores Scholarship. Mr. Ankumah graduated from Vanderbilt University in 2012, with an interdisciplinary degree in Public Policy Studies.
