David B. Herbert

Mr. Herbert have over 47 years of experience in law practice and is available to discuss any area of law listed in his practice area.

Mr. Herbert is a founding partner in the firm which began in 1971. He attended Georgia Institute of Technology, obtaining an undergraduate degree in Industrial Engineering in 1958 and a law degree from the Nashville School of Law in 1967. Between Georgia Tech and the Nashville School of Law, Mr. Herbert served in the United States Air Force and the Tennessee Air National Guard as a weather officer.

Mr. Herbert, an AV-Rated Lawyer, primarily practices in the area of real estate. This includes litigation in both state and federal courts. This also includes transactional matters regarding real estate transfers. He is admitted to practice in all of the courts in the State of Tennessee including federal courts. He has extensive experience in both jury and bench trials in the area of commercial litigation, contract cases, and cases involving title insurance claims. He has also appeared as a seminar speaker on the subject of real estate litigation.

Mr. Herbert is a member of the Nashville, Tennessee and American Bar Associations. He is a Fellow in the Nashville Bar Foundation and the Tennessee Bar Foundation serving as officers in both the Nashville Bar Association and the Tennessee Bar Foundation. He has served as an officer of the Legal Services of Middle Tennessee, Inc. and as Chancellor for the Episcopal Diocese of Tennessee. He has been recognized as the outstanding layman for the Diocese of Tennessee in 2000 and Honorary Graduate of the Nashville School of Law in 2003. Mr. Herbert is a life-long resident of Nashville, Tennessee.
