Ortale Kelley adds new Associate

Ortale Kelley is pleased to announce that William H. “Trey” Neal, III has joined the firm as an associate.

Mr. Neal’s practice will focus on both civil litigation and real estate matters. Mr. Neal graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University Of Tennessee College of Law with his J.D. While in law school, Mr. Neal competed on multiple traveling mock trial teams and served as the Public Relations Officer on the Moot Court Executive Board. Mr. Neal further served as the Membership and Marketing Editor for The Forum: A Tennessee Student Legal Journal and participated in the Appellate Litigation Clinic. During his third year of law school, Mr. Neal successfully argued a case before the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, overturning an erroneous ruling from the Eastern District of Kentucky and earning his client a new habeas corpus hearing. Thomas v. Meko, 828 F.3d 435 (6th Cir. 2016).  Prior to attending law school, Mr. Neal attended the University of South Carolina where he earned his Bachelor of Arts in History in 2011 and his Master’s in Teaching in 2013.
