Andrea Freeman

Ms. Freeman represents both plaintiffs and defendants in a variety of litigation matters and seeks to obtain the best possible outcome for her clients.

Ms. Freeman joined Ortale, Kelley Herbert & Crawford in 2014 after receiving her J.D. from Belmont University College of Law where she was named to the Dean’s List. While attending Belmont, Ms. Freeman served as an officer in the Belmont Legal Aid Society which provides pro bono legal services to the local community.

Ms. Freeman is admitted to practice before the state court and in the United States District Court for the Middle District of Tennessee. She primarily practices in the area of tort litigation and has represented both plaintiffs and defendants in variety of matters dealing with collections, medical malpractice, construction defects, premises liability, personal injury, worker’s compensation, and professional board actions.

Prior to attending law school, Ms. Freeman worked in the financial industry in New York after graduating, cum laude, from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga where she earned her undergraduate degrees in finance and marketing.

  • Represented several individuals and small business owners in a variety of matters including negligence and breach of contract claims.
  • Representation of individuals before the Tennessee Human Rights Commission and the Tennessee Department of Health.
  • Assisted in the representation of hospitals and physicians in medical malpractice actions.
  • Assisted in the representation of various employers and insurance carriers in worker’s compensation matters.
